Doggie Boarding Suites

Whether it is a weekend getaway or a longer-term vacation, your fur babies can expect to be taken care of as if they were our own. From frequent one on one attention + cuddles, daily exercise, group or private play time, to proper meals as per your instructions, homemade specialty doggie treats (because, vacation!), your pooch will be pawz-atively pampered on his or her rufff-treat!

HOLIDAY HOURS

We are closed on Thanksgiving Friday, Christmas Day, New Years Day. We also have limited hours on Thanksgiving Thursday, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve for boarding drop offs and pick ups, along with being closed for daycare on those days. While we are closed to the public, you can assure you dogs/cats will follow their normal feeding and let out schedule.

$23 per day per dog in 1 boarding suite in our standard Cabins ($40 for 2 sharing)

OR $25 per day per dog in 1 boarding suite in The Lodge ($46 for 2 sharing). The lodge is our most upgraded boarding space with condo style suites, vinyl flooring, and dog friendly movies.

All pooches boarding with us are provided a spacious, comfortable and homey, but private in-door boarding suite with an individual outside covered “patio” - open all day (in the summer) for fresh air and grassy views (weather permitting), comfortable and clean bedding for relaxing and rejuvenating, frequent water change overs to ensure your pups stay hydrated; individual cubbies for our guests’ belongings; two to three 45 minute to 1+ hour free-run play times in a supervised group setting, or privately (we are happy to customize the experience that best suits your pups needs and preferences), an evening and morning potty walk, lots of one on one attention and love, turn down service, proper meals as per your instructions, homemade specialty doggie treats, because vacation! (unless otherwise specified) and of course, a ton of fun!

long term Doggie retreats

For those guests staying with us for a longer doggy getaway, we offer two long term dog boarding packages. Guests staying for a minimum of 2 weeks or longer can choose the package that is right for them -- from our Einstein package that caters to those who prefer (or require!) more mental stimulation and exercise, or choose our Fully Pampered Pooch package for pups that prefer the finer things in life like our top-quality treatments.

These packages also include everything listed above for our baseline Doggie Boarding Suites.

The Einstein Package

For the Brainiac's of the bunch - those pups who need more mentally stimulating activities and interaction, this is the package for you. Some pups just have extra energy to burn and what better way to get rid of some of that excess zest than to stimulate your furry best friends’ brain. After a full day of physical activity, your pup can unwind for an extra 10 to 15 minutes a day training their puppy mind with one of our hand selected interactive and engaging doggie games and puzzles. These help to keep your dogs’ brain at full power, challenging them to try new things, and are a great exercise in mental stimulation. Your dog will return home calm, relaxed and even smarter than when you left them! (will work on this last bit)

Fully Pampered Package

The Fully Pampered package includes an “exit” wash and dry, paw-d-cure, ear cleaning and one of our two unique scented spritz (say good-bye to wet dog smell and hello to freshness!) We offer a safe and made-for-dogs, probiotic deodorizer (puppy cologne) designed to support your pet’s natural defense against itching, dryness, irritation and odor, all from our expert on-site Groomer who will have your dog looking and feeling their best when they return home.

Doggie Day Care

If you are traveling with your family dog and need a safe and fun place for your pup to spend the day, look no FURther! Working late with no one at home? Do not fear 4 Pawz Doggie Daycare is here! Your pup will enjoy a day filled with exercise, socialization, lots of cuddles + attention, and of course a ton of fun. All toys and balls are provided!

Day Care Package

$20 for the day*

At 4 Pawz Doggie Daycare your pup can expect to socialize and interact with other dogs and humans (a lifetime skill your pooch will thank you for), receive a full day's worth of exercise and play on our fully fenced 3/4 of an acre grassy play area, as well as some rest and relaxation under our designated shaded areas that offer protection from the elements. Swimming is encouraged in the summer months via our communal in-ground play pond and additional play pools. We also have our indoor K9 Clubhouse for when days are too hot, or too rainy and mucky where they can lounge on raised beds and watch dog-friendly movies. In the winter, we have a closed in and insulated play pad where your best friend can spend the day making new friends. All toys and balls are provided! Call to inquire or make a reservation as limited space available.

*8AM to 5PM Monday to Saturday. We also offer a loyalty program discount for those who work and need to bring their pups to daycare 5 days a week minimum. Inquire when booking.

The cattery

Our private kitty sanctuary located on the other side of our Retreat facility, offers kitty condos equipped with a separate space for their litter and dining/sleeping areas, cozy blankets, fresh water and food bowls, and a variety of bedding options (including covered and uncovered) for optimal lounging space.

The cattery offers a large “communal” area for those more active and curious of cats who want to get back in touch with their primal roots. For these guests, we offer free play time in the main area where they have access to a large scratch and climb cat tree, all the mice and catnip ball toys they could desire, as well as our cheetah tunnel on the upper deck where they can practice their stalking and hunting techniques. All our feline guests receive daily one on one attention and a high level of care while on va-cat-ion! Our cattery is also equipped with kitty pheromone plug-in diffuser to help our feline friends feel calm, reduce stress and feel less fearful in a new surrounding.

Off Property Dog Walks (For Daycare, Boarding and as a stand alone service)

There are plenty of benefits to walking that go beyond physical health, for your pup. An additional walk off property allows them to change up their scenery which means new and exciting smells and a lot more mental stimulation for them. Sniffing is hugely beneficial for dogs and essential for their well-being.  Not to mention stimulating, experts tell us just 20 minutes of sniffing is equivalent to an hour's walk in terms of enrichment for your dog. An additional walk off property also gives your pup extra one on one time with their 2nd most favorite handlers, besides you!  Our dog walking services will be open as an add-on to their daycare full-day, as well as dogs boarding with us for an additional 20 to 30 minutes. Whether you want to schedule this for them every day that they are here, every-other day, or on a rotating schedule, we can simply add this on to their booking with no issues. All dogs will be assessed on their leash at first and owners will be required to fill out a questionnaire concerning their pups behavior and leash skills. For an additional charge you can add-on some basic leash work/training with Hayley to their private walking sessions! You can also book our leash work/training as a stand alone service (prices will vary depending on your dogs skill level).

Frozen Organic Peanut butter or Probiotic Yogurt Kong

A great source of protein and we strictly use dog-specific xylitol-free peanut butter in a sterilized Kong. This is a great occasional high-value treat, that can be a fun reward. Additionally, we do get a lot of younger pups with a LOT of energy to burn, as well as various breeds that need extra stimulation. Kongs are a wonderful way to feed your dog in a way that keeps them occupied. When the food inside the Kong is frozen, it takes longer for your dog to get it all out, which provides them a greater opportunity for problem solving, mental exercise, and using their mouths in the physical way that so many dogs need. This is valuable because many dogs require more mental stimulation than you can provide them each day. Working to get food out of a toy is much more satisfying to the majority of dogs than eating it straight from the bowl. It involves the chewing and licking so many dogs enjoy. It keeps dogs occupied for a long time. It provides them the opportunity to problem solve and to stick to one task for a long time.

4 Pawz Pet Taxi Services

We know that life happens to all of us, and sometimes our business hours don't meet the needs of some of our clientele. Whether you get stuck at work with your pup still in daycare, your workday starts way earlier than our office opens, or you have a big travel day with a plane to catch! We hear you! That is why we have been working hard to come up with this solution to be able to remedy these issues as they come up. Our taxi services will open up at 6AM and end at 6PM. If scheduled, we can pick your pups up for daycare AND/OR drop them off at home at the end of the day, You have the choice of one or both ways. The service begins at $15 for one way (within a 5 mile Radius of the 4 Pawz facility) and $25 for both ways. If you are located outside of this radius there is at 50 cent per mile additional charge. Our Taxi service will even extend to our local boarding guests (stipulations may apply). Please note that a first initial meeting of your pup at home, along with a questionnaire and client intake form will need to be completed before setting up our taxi services.

Enrichment Games and Enrichment Agility Course/Activities

As we mentioned above, some pups just need that extra something! Whether they are a working breed and running them out with the chuck-it or Frisbee just doesn't cut it because they really need to be using their brains and working on something, or they are just a young pup still learning and need that extra stimulation to tire them out. These additions can also be added to your pups daycare day or while they are boarding either daily, every other day or on a specific schedule. We have a combination of enrichment brain games for the brainiacs of the bunch, as well as enrichment agility course activities for those more apt to a combination of brain and athletics. You can add on either of these options or both!  Some of our brain-centric activities include snuffle mats for mental stimulation, scent work games, and interactive puzzle toys using low-cal training treats. Our enrichment agility activities include a pylon course, weave poles, 2 different tunnels, seesaw, different level jumps and a hoop. All of which can be used individually to work with your dogs skill level or as a full obstacle course.
