Whether you are a local of the area, or are just visiting, 4 Pawz Pet Retreat offers year-round long and short-term overnight boarding for both our canine and feline guests, a one of a kind Pet Spaw with full grooming services, all in our relaxing resort-style facility.
For those here for the day, or just passing through, don't worry about bringing your pup along because we have doggie daycare too! You can enjoy a day of biking, boating, or fishing while your pooch receives a full day of play, exercise, and both human + dog socialization. We believe that a tired dog is a happy dog and your pup will return to you calm, relaxed and rejuvenated!

“My dad was working the fires in the Libby area, so I was left in the long-term care of the wonderful hoomans at 4 PAWZ Pet Retreat. From the first day, I received top notch attention and care. I’m a very energetic and boisterous pup, not to mention large for my age, and I need a lot of playtime. I found the retreat grounds just perfect for my exercise needs. I had ample room to run around and I even had a pond to swim in when I was overheated. Because of the length of my stay, I was able to socialize with so many different dogs and make tons of new friends, some as energetic as me! I must admit that I am a little bit of a ball hog, but the retreat had enough balls and toys to go around so it wasn’t really a problem. I found my sleeping conditions to be extremely comfortable and the hoomans always made sure my bedding and sleeping quarters were clean and soft. After a couple of months, my dad came to take me home. If you are an energetic dog that needs a great place to play yourself out and have a good sleep after, then this is definitely the place for you!”

“I stayed at 4 PAWZ Pet Retreat for a month while my dad was out of town working. I was a little shy at first, I hadn’t really been around many dogs up to that point in my life. I was immediately welcomed by the resident dogs, Ginger & Bridget. We had some individual play time and I mastered the art of ball retrieval for the humans. It was so fun and gave me the confidence to try out my new play skills later in the bigger kennel group. I was introduced to so many different dogs from all walks of life and I made many new friends. There was a constant stream of hugs and love from the kennel humans, Amanda, Trevor & Val. At the end of my stay I received a complimentary full groom which included a wash, dry and breed specific trim. I looked and felt amazing when I was picked up at the end of my stay. I would recommend 4 PAWZ Pet Retreat to any dog for a short or long stay, it was relaxing, fun and educational for me.”

“My kitty sister and I made sure mom booked us in at 4 Pawz Pet Retreat so we could have a vacation too, while mom went to visit her human daughter. We stayed at the retreat for almost a month! I am a social butterfly, so I was really excited to take part in the group play and exercise sessions. I made a lot of new friends and really enjoyed their in-ground communal pond to cool off in when it got hot. Mom thinks I am carrying a little bit of extra weight, and the Retreat staff were great about keeping me on track on my diet and making sure I exercised every day! I had a really comfy Suite where my bedding and water were changed frequently (especially if I had been in the pond that day). I would recommend 4 Pawz to any pooch and I can’t wait to come back!”

Doggie Boarding Suites
We offer full service over night boarding for both short- or long-term stays. Whether it is a weekend getaway or a longer vacation, your fur babies can expect frequent one on one attention + cuddles, daily exercise and play activities, socialization, proper meals as per your instructions, homemade specialty doggie treats (because, vacation!), and of course, a ton of fun!
Doggie Day Care
Are you traveling with your family dog and need a safe and fun place for your pup to spend the day while you hike or fish? Working late and no one at home? Have your pooch come and play for the day!
The Cattery
A private kitty sanctuary located on the other side of the Retreat facility, with large windows that get a ton of sunshine and are purrfect for bird watching! We offer 3 story and 2 story kitty condos to accommodate those families with more than one feline member.
The Spaw
Our Spaw includes full grooming and bathing services for our canine guests. Send your pet to the Spaw for the day for a soothing bath, brush and dry, or to update their doogie "doo's" with a full groom.
